Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of gometalroofs.com and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What we do

Go Metal Roofs is a consumer education and contractor-matching platform focused on residential metal roofing in the United States. We publish educational content, maintain a directory of metal roofing contractors, and connect homeowners with local dealers who offer quotes. We are not a roofing contractor and do not perform installation work.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

Homeowner use

• The directory and educational content are provided for informational purposes only. Pricing, savings, and durability figures are estimates based on publicly available industry data and individual results will vary.
• When you submit a quote request, your contact information is shared with one or more participating dealers in your area so they can respond. Any agreement to perform work is solely between you and the dealer.
• Go Metal Roofs does not guarantee the work, warranty, pricing, licensing, or insurance status of any contractor in the directory. You are responsible for verifying credentials before hiring.

Dealer membership

• Dealer accounts are offered on a recurring monthly or annual subscription billed through Stripe. Pricing, included features, and territory rules are described on the Dealers page.
• You may cancel at any time from the dealer portal or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not pro-rate partial periods.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing and for keeping your contact information current. We may suspend or terminate accounts that submit false information, abuse the lead system, generate excessive complaints, or fail to maintain the licensing and insurance required in your state.
• Lead estimates and "exclusive zip" availability are forecasts, not guarantees. We do not promise a minimum number of leads.

Manufacturer partnerships

Manufacturer partnership packages are governed by a separate written agreement signed at onboarding. The terms shown on the Manufacturers page are descriptive and not contractual until that agreement is executed.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy, or republish the contractor directory or any other portion of the Service without written permission.
• Submit false information, impersonate another person or business, or interfere with the Service or its security.
• Use the Service to send spam, harvest contact information, or transmit anything unlawful, harassing, or infringing.

Intellectual property

The Site, its content, and the Go Metal Roofs name and logo are owned by Go Metal Roofs or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and share content for personal, non-commercial use only.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific outcome will result from using it. Educational figures are estimates only and not professional advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Go Metal Roofs and its officers, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits or revenue, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US$100.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Go Metal Roofs harmless from any claim arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or harms the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
